This series of brooches was made as an installation for the Hidden Histories exhibition at Narryna Museum (part of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery) during 2020. The works reflect on the secret thoughts of colonial women in early Tasmania. The society was small, conforming was important and the lives of women were very constrained.
